What is a quirky holiday cottage

What exactly do we mean by "quirky"? What is a quirky holiday cottage? To us, what makes something 'quirky' is when it's unusual, unique or a little strange in a way that's interesting, charming, or amusing!

So if a holiday property is something unusual, unexpected, or charmingly different from a standard rental - we'd call it quirky. It feels memorable and full of personality rather than generic.

What's so quirky about our cottages?

Think converted spaces (old lighthouse, church, railway carriage, mill, shepherd's hut).
Think bold colours, vintage finds, or handmade pieces (playful themes or artistic touches).
Think unexpected locations (clifftop, treehouse, beachfront).
Think features with a twist.

A quirky cottage feels cosy, characterful, and one-of-a-kind. Guests often describe it as having 'bags of charm' or 'a place with a story' - something you'd remember long after the holiday ends.

So what are you waiting for? Let's get quirky!
